mini BOSO pipe

Took my Ti-C off to clean it and decided to make something fun with the stock exhaust pipe and a bunch of scraps I had lying around:

It came out pretty decent, although I might try a different tip on it later. The surprising thing is that it is actually quieter than the Greddy at cruising speeds with less drone in the cabin. I figure this is because the Ti-C is tucked under the car and doesn't extend past the body. W.O.T. is of course a little louder.

*EDIT*

New revised version:

Does that design trap condensation inside the pipe? I've always wondered if they would eventually fill with water...

Did a 45 degree cut on the tip; looks better. Added new pictures to the first post.

The tip has a few holes on the bottom section where the screws to hold it on would go. Since I welded it on and didn't use these, the holes should serve as drains.

I do have a header but I still have stock cats and midpipe so that helps keep it from being too loud. I'm not sure how it would sound with no cat or resonator. Just make one with your stock pipe and try it out; at least it's quick and easy to change back if it's too loud.

The pipe has about 8 welded joints on it to make the curve down under the bumper and back up, as well as step up the pipe size from stock to 2.5". I had lots of little scraps I cut up to make it. The blue is just masking tape.

Curious....did you strip and polish out the RPF1's? Then they might not be RPF1's, hard to tell from the angle. Anyway those look nice.
