As soon as you find it...let us know. I'll be hooking one up.

My 2011's Tacoma's 130A alternator would connect up, but might require some minor bracket fabrication to mount.

The 4 pin connector and its pinout are identical, but the frame is larger.

The part number is: 27060-0P020

This is what it actually looks like. Many parts sites use generic images. The pulley is also for a wider belt.

6 cyl with the towing package and heavy duty built in inverter (120 VAC outlet built into the bed), which is why it has the 130A, instead of the 90A or 100A, which some of the Tacomas have.

So it's viable to replace the Tacoma pulley with a Yaris pulley and fab some brackets up to fit the Yaris mounting?

I'm looking at costs here...

$90 for a used Tacoma alty

$16-$20 for a Yaris alty pulley

Several hours of bracket fab. This is POSSIBLY something that Garm might want to look into for a "kit". A higher output Toyota/Denso alternator kit for the Yaris.

Hmmm....

I just dropped Garm a message. We should get his thoughts on this. I know I would rather use an OEM alternator for the sake of longevity and peace of mind. I didn't have a good experience with DC Power.

Sounds a little involved if pulleys have to be swapped also. Is there a market for this? I'm a volume-knob audio-noob.

I'd be all over a set of brackets, swapping pullies is pretty easy(most of the time!)...

I still have that 1 off NST alternator overdrive pulley, i yanked it because my alternate felt like it was getting way too hot.

this is exciting....I was also looking at my buddies alternator on his Tacoma and it looks like a good fit electrically, and if the pully can fit the mount would be easy enough.
