No one has put together a DIY yet, but I have all of the necessary documentation to do so. I can give you all of the wires and connector locations and then if you can snap pictures of them I can update my 2nd gen remote start / keyless entry / alarm DIY for 3rd gen.

I haven't had a chance to create them yet, but will do so soon.

I have an old, like 15 year old, never installed bulldog remote starter kit that I plan to install on my 2012 L and could easily take the pics if you haven't got any yet. I've been looking over the 06-11 remote starter DIY and was hoping all the colors and locations were the same.

They are almost all different. I did up a wiring guide and Fri is currently in the process of debugging it for me. We are pretty close to having a complete guide with great pictures that he is taking along the way.

Sounds awesome. In that case I'll wait for the finished product before I start on mine.

Bringing this old thread back up. I'm getting ready to jump into this and was wondering if CTScott(electrical guru) or anyone else could tell me the location and colors of the lock and unlock signal wires for a 2012. I think those are all I need to know as I'm only doing keyless entry.

On the junction connector for the door that is under the driver's side kick panel there are three groups of wires. The center group is a square, and there are two side groups - One with three positions and one with five. In the square in the middle, the beige wire in pin 4 is unlock and the violet wire in pin 17 is lock.
