How fast have you gone in your Yaris.....

Hi Yarisworlders,

Just curious how fast you guys and gals have gone in your Yari?
Myself, I haven't gone past 65mph, but was thinking about speed this morning when I noticed the speedometer goes up to 130mph. And I thought to myself, "Could this car really go 130mph if need be?"
Just a thought....

+1

This may be a question with some folks coming back with unreal numbers IMHO. Personally I have gone 133mph by GPS, speed record of 129.9mph and 146+mph on the dyno when I hit the rev limiter in 5th.

Hit the speed limiter at ~117 GPS verified MPH.

Won't be doing that again any time soon.

190km/h on the speedo, but that was with my old slightly over-sized wheels, might have been off.. Ought to be able to do over 200 now :D

before header, exhaust,K&N drop in intake and 8 bars only 101 mph. Now i can go up to 120 mph. The computer will shut down the fuel for you.

these cars are speed limited by the computer (at least in Cali).

In a legal environment (El Mirage), i topped her out to about 113-115.

They are speed limited globally to 118mph. Now your actual speedometer reading of course is also affected by your wheel/tire combo diameter. So for example if you are running low profile tires on 15" wheels you are actually going slower than what the speedo shows and vice versa if you change wheels or tires that put you larger than the stock height.
