would this do?

i was looking for a retro look for my yaris, i always liked the wantanabe's, and now konig has reproduced them, the konig rewinds. would there be anything wrong with 15 x 7 0 offset. if not what would be the best tire size, 205/55?

Off-set for a 7 inch wide wheel should be between 38mm and 45mm. Remember the lower the off-set the more the wheel is pushed outward. I have 38mm off-set and they are as wide as possible w/o hitting the fender.

a +38 offset is perfect for a 7 inch wide wheel, it sits flush with the fender and just barly rubbs on the inside on full lock turns.... 205/55 or a 225/50 tire works.
here is a pic of my 225/50VR15's on my car

so 0 offset would be like, "hey look my car looks like a dune buggy now!" is what your saying. i guess that wont be a good choice of rim.

Exactly, they would stick out 38mm (about 1.49 inches) beyond your fender.

Hey Black Yaris, love the wide looking tires on your ride. You said you have a minor rub on full lock with your 7 inch wide tires with a 38mm offset? I've looked at a lot of rims with a 40mm offset. Do you think with the extra 2 mm offset would elminate the minor rubbing on your car?

I think Rewinds would be great! I also think Konig Remembers would be hot, too.

A higher offset means the wheel will be set furthur in which will increase rubbing at full lock. You would have to get less offset but 38mm is the least you can go without them sticking out to far and rubbing your fenders.
