Could it be the seat position?

i've noticed for the past three years or so that my night driving vision has gotten really bad. i'm partially blind in my left eye when driving on the highway at night. the oncoming headlights just ruin my vision. so now i drive like someone's grandma in the far right lane to get as far away from the oncoming lights. and don't let some SUV drive behind me ! i've been to three diffent eye doctors and an eye specialist. they all said my eyes were fine, then my (future) brother-in-law said maybe it was the seat hight in my cars! my first car was an 89 accord. the seat position was low. then i had an 01 focus hatchback. the kept the seat up high and i think after i got the focus is when i started having problems with night driving. could it really be as simple as that?

Don't know how seat height would do anything....and 25 is young for night driving problems (although most of us older folks don't like night driving as much as we used to)...but you could try a Suburban or full size truck if you're serious just to compare. But my main suggestion is keep all your windows 'clean' at all times (rainX helps during rain) inside and out, sides front and back....other than that I'm not a Doc. Good luck

I would suggest wearing your sunglasses at night.

You do know you're supposed to look away from the headlight, right? Once you glance directly at them, it's all over... night vision is toast.
