How are the water pumps on the Third Gen?
Hi all,
I was wondering if the the third gens have the water pump leak issue that was common on the second gens after the first few years. I have an 07 sedan and had replaced the original pump two years ago with an aftermarket pump from NAPA rather than going with OEM and used the Toyota pink coolant. Haven't any problems since. I'm interested in getting a third gen hatchback now for practicality. Appreciate it. Thanks, Antone |

My OEM pump lasted about 3 years too. It was replaced with an OEM and i have not had any issues since, and it's been 5 years now.
I don't think you would see much issues in that aspect now. Either way, you know it already, so you know what to expect. |
