'Frosted" gauge panel lens
Just picked up a 08 S hatch and it has an issue i'd like to run by the forum. The clear plastic lens over the gauges has frosted look to it,kinda like plastic headlights look over time. I didnt catch it during my test drive because i thought it was just glare. 101 out here today[so far]. Anybody seen anything like this? Thanks.

Someone use a product that's most likely oil by product to clean. Pretty much all clear plastic is made from polycarbonate or also called le an from GE. It can get effected by anything oil based. I did a lot of tests, research and molded le an 10-15 years ago. Sooooo, you need to replace.

lens
Ive been checking out parts catalogs online, and once i learned to navigate them i found the lens. About 20 bucks give or take. I was worried that it would be integral with the gauges.
