Help Please..

Hi Guys ,Im new here only had car 1 week..
Im always bit by the mod bug lol so today Im installing a rockford fazgate 10" sub and amp..did tint and leds yesterday,rims /tires/lowering next week..
anyways I need help please,,anyone know the wiring for the rear speakers?? there rear speaker plug on the head unit has 5 wires red/white/yellow/black and green is the odd wire out.. anyone know whats what?? right + & - left + & - and whats the 5th wire? Im trying to get a signal to my amp for the sub..

any idea what the correct wire hookup would be for a mono sub set up to the oem speaker wires as well?

any help is much appreciated guys

OK I did dig this much up for all who need it.

Front

left
+ is pink
- is violet

right
+is grey
- is yellow

REAR

left
+ is RED
- is White

Right
+ is black
- Is yellow

the green wire I just dont know lol

all from toyota tech manual


Still need help on correct hookup for mono sub ,please...

Even a mono sub amp still has stereo inputs. That means you need to hook up both channels (either speaker wires, or pre-outs if you are using an aftermarket deck) to the amp to get the proper bass.

It sounds like you want to get an amp that will use the high level speaker output of the head unit instead of RCAs. Just remember that if you hook up your front or rear speaker wires to get a signal to the sub amp, you'll be losing the signal to those speakers (probably the rear). If you want to use all 4 speakers and a sub you'll have to get 2 amps, one for the sub and one for the rest of the speakers. If you can afford it this is the way to go, since you can crossover your mids and highs and not worry about blowing them
