Toyota Touch and Go 2 - no audio file found pop-up - Toyota Yaris Forums

Hi guys,

Wondering if anyone have a solution to this annoying pop up message on Toyota Touch and Go 2.

European Yaris Hybrid 2015

When my phone is connected to T&G via bluetooth and the music is played via Spotify every time Spotify goes to the next song I get a pop-up message on T&G screen - 'no audio file found'.

I don't have any audio files on my phone that's true, just want to stream Spotify via bluetooth. My partner has an Auris 2013 Hybrid with T&G 1 and I'm not getting these pop-ups in her car.

Is that normal ?

Are you plugging the phone into the cars USB socket?

No it's connected only via Bluetooth and there is nothing else connected to the USB port

I've done a test and added an mp3 file to my phone so I do have audio files on the phone but I'm still getting the same pop-up.

Looking at Toyota's bulletins there is no mention of this issue but there are software updates for the Yaris Touch 2 headunit.

What version of software is in your headunit?
Press "setup"
Press "general"
scroll down and press "software info"
Version will be XE....

There are updates for you headunit, you will have to go to your local dealer complain about the message and have them update the software.

Or you could register @ www.toyota-tech.eu look for bulletin BE-0044T-0415 download the guide and software and do it yourself.

So I managed to update the software. I'm on xe3934 now but unfortunately this didn't sort out my pop-up message issue - it still comes up each time Spotify goes to the next song from the playlist.

I'm trying to download the software xe3934 on toyota techdoc using the TSB BE-0044T-0415 but noway, my VIN is not found !
did anyone already download the zip file of this software xe3934 od did have a sample VIN that i can use to download it myself?
