MTB Bike rack (not towbar or hitch)
I want to be able to carry my MTB.
2009 3 door manual yaris A Huge XL 29ėr. Thinking https://www.saris.com/product/solo OR https://www.saris.com/product/guardian-2 I do not like the idea of the mount resting on the glass as it is a long drive and the bike is a solid downhill unit. Has anyone got some advice please? |

On a prior hatchback I owned in the 80s, I used a similar carrier to haul 2 bikes very long distances. I was never concerned about the glass. What did concern me was the lower contact point resting on the paint. I eventually did end up with minor scuffing in my paint.
