2ZR-FE Swap Exhaust Questions

I'm planning to do a 2ZR-FE in the near future, and am in the process of researching all the parts I'm going to need. One thing that I am unsure of, is what to do for the exhaust. I know custom is obviously an option, but I'd like to know what the community thinks of this.

The Scion xD shares many similarities with the 2nd gen Yaris HB, which I believe is due to them having the same sub-frame (please someone correct me if I'm wrong) - in fact, while the overall dimensions of these 2 cars differ slightly, they appear to have the exact same wheelbase of 96.9 inches according to edmunds.

Now, for the swap, it's known that the header of the 1.8L 2ZR will not match up to the Yaris downpipe/midpipe. Interestingly, it seems that the axle-back muffler portion of the xD exhaust WILL bolt right up to the stock Yaris midpipe (see: https://www.yarisworld.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=20153 post #8). This begs the question - is the xD midpipe the same or close enough to the Yaris midpipe to fit under the car? This could be a solution to the 2ZR swap exhaust - 2ZR engine > 2ZR header > xD midpipe > Yaris/xD muffler - does that make sense?

I think I would want to go with a slightly larger diameter than stock (I need to confirm the diameter of these with Magnaflow), but these also look very similar.

Will it fit? The design and turns of the pipes look they would fit very similarly under the car. I guess worst case scenario I could try the xD Magnaflow out, and if it doesn't fit return it and go custom. Thoughts YW?
