Socket size for fuel door and trunk release handle
Hi all,
Going to pick up a 2012 Yaris Sedan tomorrow and the fuel door release doesn't work. The handle presents no resistance when pulled, so either the little pin is broken at the handle side or in the release near the fuel door. I'd like to bring a few tools to see if I can fix it or at least pull the cable to open the fuel door. Does anybody know the socket size, it kind of looks like a 10mm but not sure. Thanks, Stefano |

OK, well I picked up my Yaris back on Monday Nov 24th and the socket size for anyone who finds this post is 10mm (or course it is :) )
I opened up the fuel lid handle and sure enough the cable was broken right at the small round nib that goes into the handle. I've placed a pair of locking pliers on the cable for now until I can source the cable. |
