True differences.
What are the true differences between the Power Package and Convience package? I was going to order a PP Liftback (5spd) from Japan thru AAA but it was going to take 120 days. I dont have that kind of time so I found a convience package Liftback in the color id like and put a down payment on it. I guess I hear some people talking about the PP has better speakers, and some other odds and ends. I was under the impression that the PP only gave you the 60/40 Rear seat, and power windows/doors. Its so lame they send these things over all dumbed down, when everyone I hear complaining is bitching because they cant get simple things like power windows/locks/etc... CMON TOYOTA!!!!
Oh yeah, thanks in advance for the replies! |

It also has power side mirrors. You have to pay for those things. The Yaris hatch back is Toyota's cheapes car. I have the power package on mine. If someone was on a budget and every penny mattered, it may be important to be as cheap as possible.

you guys are lucky you get the 60/40 option with your 'base' hatchbacks. in canada, the 60/40 split is only available with the RS trim, which is ~$3000cdn over the base model. of course it comes with other things as well, but all i really wanted was the 60/40 seats. i settled for the car w/o the 60/40 split, oh well

In Australia, it the power packages come standard, and it should in this day and age.
I think it's pretty poor of Toyota America to not include it as standard. |

I believe the pp also includes abs brakes and cruise on sedan models.
