My weekend upgrades

Had a busy weekend with bolt-ons and maintenance.

• Changed the oil (Royal Purple)
• Installed Fumoto oil drain plug
• New spark plugs (NGK Iridium)
• New belt (Dayco)
• Microimage lightweight pulley
• DC Sports header

She's just over five years old now and still low mileage (about 29K) but it feels like a brand new car The engine is so quiet and smooth at idle that I can hardly tell it's running. Smoothed out the acceleration and improved general responsiveness quite a bit. I recommend the pulley and header to anyone considering upgrades.

Installs were fairly painless - ended up soaking the header bolts with PB Blaster overnight and that helped a great deal.

I've got a bit of a brake squeal I wish I could get rid of. Took advantage of the removal of the front passenger wheel to apply some anti-squeal to the disc pads but the squeal is still there - not as bad - but it still happens. It might be the rear passenger drum and I'm planning on adjusting those in the coming days so I'll see if that helps.
