New oem rear bump need priming?
I just purchased a replacement rear bumper cover from Toyota. I'm not 100% sure wether or not it needs primed before painting, sone say they do, sone say they don't because they cone "factory primed". Looks like bare plastic to me though.
When I asked the dealer, the part guy just kept saying "it plastic" and couldn't give me an actual answer. I'm asking because if it needs primered I would prefer to just do it myself to save a little $$$. Anyone have tips? Last edited by coffiend; 09-28-2009 at 06:30 PM. |
