oh, gosh, too many to list and they're also going to show how old I really am

There were sooooooo many good bands in the 60's/ 70's era, too many to list.

And I'm a huge jazz fan, so I like a lot of pre WW2 and WW2 music as well.
Come to think of it, it'd be easier to list the music genres / bands I do not like than those I do like ;)

I would agree that the Beatles were one of possibly 5 most influencial bands of all times. Amazing sound, creativity, timeless tracks, brought 3 generations together with their music. I had the little 45's when I was a kid, with the (original) Apple label.

LOL @tomato worried about exposing her age.

As you are surely old enough and wise enough to know, age is a state of mind.

I could also list a ton more, but I tried to think of the ones I listen to most often so come on, throw a few out there 'maters!

Yes, the Beatles have been near the top of my list of favorites for a long time. There are a lot of others I like as well, but my favorite band is Helmet. As far as other types of music go... John Coltrane is great for jazz, and John Williams' classical music for movie soundtracks is really good... especially Star Wars.

Top 3 right now would have to be Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin, and Seether

Like 8-10 years ago when I really got into EVERYTHING Japanese. I lke alot more but I tend to just really listen to Visual Kei. But I remember the Kouhaku of 2000 really got me started. Chemistry, Dragon Ash, Ayumi Hamasaki, Speed, and all the Enka...
