Just ORDERED my new LB

That's right! I just ordered my new 2011 LB 3dr 5spd through carsdirect.com.
I have already been in conversation with Garm to outfit my new Yaris. I am so excited about this purchase.
FYI, I am a hardcore VW fanatic. This car is just too good to pass up. When weighing out the +/- from the new VW to the new Yaris there is no competition. Yaris wins! Pics of the new car will soon be up followed by pics with Garm's goodies! Just so you guys know, I'm doing it right from the get go. No junk. No bad offset goofy wheels... You'll see.

Thanks to you all for the wonderful info on this site. I have been lurking for quite some time, but today I pulled the trigger on the Yaris so I figured it was time for an intro.

My newly "finished" project
1981 VW Diesel(swap) Caddy w/ all the goodies...

Welcome and very nice V.W.. Is that the VW diesel that's capable of getting 35+ miles per gallon ? If so , wish vehicle manufacturers would produce a small pickup that equals or passes the 35 range . Would come in handy . Here's the V.W. Rabbit pickup that's capable of getting 45+ m.p.g. , www.mpgomatic.com/45_MPG_Pickup_Truck.html .

Thanks for the welcomes!
Supposedly(big supposedly) with proper injector pump tuning this beast should do around 50mpg. It's a low and slow mentality. The Yaris will be my go kart, get-around. Picking it up tomorrow!

That's how I bought mine. I like how you don't have to deal with salesmen. I got mine in November last year so there was hardly any discounting ($200 off MSRP). But I bought it anyway and am loving it!

It's here! It's here!
I got to spend some good time in it too. Drove from San Jose to Fresno. Awesome car. My 5 year old thinks it is the coolest car ever! My 3 year old HAD to ride with his Mom in the passat wagon (lame). I do really love this car already. After the mess of parts I am ordering from Garm come in, then the real fun begins.

Just took these in the dark so take it easy...

SuperWhite, Power package, 5-speed, Awesome.

Love the factory alloys.
Are you going to keep them?
