We aren't religious and we don't have young children so yesterday was just another day for us. However, the weather was beautiful so I barbecued some organic chicken and soy sausages using natural charcoal that was started using a charcoal flume powered by reused paper, and some barbecue sauce that we bought at last Fall's Rib Cookoff. Barbecue-toasted organic wheat buns were a nice touch, too.
I also heated up some organic ranch beans in my solar cooker, and served organic dill pickle slices on the side. I made enough for leftovers so we will have it for dinner again tonight.

I have LOTS of leftover ham. country green beans, and carrot cake. I brought the carrot cake in, though, to share with coworkers. I did NOT want that in the house when the kids aren't here to eat it for me because *I* don't need it. lol

Marionberries are an Oregon thing; they originated here. They're a hybrid deal and are fantastic!

Fired up the oil burner...... cooked some Loons stuffed with snail darter.... buffalo style spotted owl wings ....yummy! Colored Eagle eggs boiled and served on our finest slave labor linen!
Pity there were no leftovers...... Drove the plow truck around running over inflatable rabits and mountain bikes !!!
