I'm interested in the JDM oil cap, badges, and possibly the boots (what do those look like?). Also, you might want to hold on to the ScanGauge, since it works on that tank of yours.

Can't blame ya guy. There are times, like when I take my german shepherd to the vet, that I wish I could just trade in my car for a Tacoma or Tundra.

In my Yaris I drive mountains in the snow and dirt roads year round, some with ruts that require careful attention. I have never failed to get where I wanted to go. Also keep in mind that the truck you are looking at is built by a company that is bankrupt.

I really like hevy trucks, I had both a 72 and an 85.. t the Cevy truck was one of the most durable vehicles in automotive history. My solution now is to keep a beater truck and my Yaris. If you wait for a little for gas prices to go up, and with the economy in the condition it is, you ought to be able to get an old but dependable truck for less than you'd loose selling or trading the Yaris and still have the Yaris for the times when a big truck is an expensive to operate pain in the ass.

![]() Again, Bail-Out, you are more than welcome to do as you please with your Yaris - but I advise against publicly announcing against what the manufacturer recommends. If you get in an accident with a trailer, even if it's not your fault, an over-zealous insurance company (like the other guy's) might have you chased after for gross negligeance, because you went against the manufacturer's recommendation, regardless of what the Yaris is listed for in other countries. Is your financial life really worth giving up because you felt renting a truck (or owning a cheapo truck) was too much hassle? |

If its just about towing a boat and the autocross car why not just rent a truck for the occasion.I'm sure with a small trailer the Yaris can handle the rest. Or why not just add the truck to the rest of the toys and keep the Yaris.

i wouldn't mind picking up those springs you have, you using them on stock shocks?
btw, I second the yaris able to haul light loads such as bikes-- it's very capable with it's higher torque output. but it also depends on where your hauling, if it's mountains and snowy roads, I'd suggest an AWD personally... |

It is gonna take a lot of more money on gas.
but at least you're not driving the truck to the office in the city ;p it's gonna be used as it's supposed to

The increase in insurance for a beater truck with out collison would probably be less than the increase in gas cost, for interested parties. It sure is for me in North Carolina.
