Yaris=hot oven?? - Toyota Yaris Forums

This goes to all the people in the Gulf Coast region that have been experiencing The DROUGHT.

Is is just me or does the Yaris do a "fantastic" job of turning itself into an oven even though it is parked in the sun for a mere 10 minutes?

Lately, I have been needing to open all the windows and open up the hatch to let all that heat out before starting up and going. I even have the freaking sunshade up when its parked! At mid-day, I arrive to my car and it feels like I am shoving my face into an oven. And the A/C ain't doing a fantastic job either. My old Ford Escort could get so cold that the windows would begin showing condensation. This car? I have the A/C all the way to (4) and it still feels like its not doing enough.

Just making sure my car isn't defective or something.
