What's with the short notice, man???? How long is the cruise? I should be working on my CRX, but maybe I can take an extended break.

As for any questions, I have one. If you have a pool you need to fill up, what would be quicker to fill it with: Two 5" pipes, or one 10" pipe. This has been bugging me for some time.

Short notice? How? This is a week and a half away.

Edit: moved it over a week so it's not so last minute

It's about 20 mins each way. And I meant questions regarding the trip lol

area of a circle is PI*(R^2)

the area of a circle is directly proportional to the maximum amount of water a pipe can shoot out right?

well case 1: 2*(3.14159 * 5^2) = 2*(PI*25) = 157.0795
case 2: 1*(3.14159 * 10^2) = (PI*100) = 314.159

There are two pipes but remember that the square function (y = x^2) is an exponential function which means the higher the input you give it the exponentially higher the output is. Example 3^2 (9) + 3^2 (9) is less than 6^2 (38).

Gogo 10" pipe!

edit: this is the same reason large exhaust pipes and wheels have such pronounced effects on cars!

IT ISSS short notice. But thanks for moving it. Count me in. And yeah, I knew what you meant about questions. I felt like being silly

LMAO - Thanks! I actually got "unlazy" and figured it out yesterday, right after I posted that. Just one thing with your numbers: You took the diameter instead of the radius! Case 1 should be 2*(3.14*2.5^2)
Thanks though!

Unfortunately I got a Birthday party around that time to attend so I can't make it. Also LA is 350+ miles away . I would need to save gas money before heading down south for a meet. I plan to eventually but probably not during the school year.

Have fun up there.

BTW, saw your post on the Mitsuwa thread...funny guy. Is that a line from a movie?

I was LMAO when I read an old post of yours, from 2007, in the auto-x section. You said something like, LSD will NOT help...unless i throw it the other guy.
