Weather 10/26/10

Thunderstorm Warning and Tornado Warining for Cinci area Indiana, Kentcky and Tennesse

The people from this are Ok ? please post and let us know, Things around my area are really bad right now I will post pictures and video when it calms down been having winds up to 70 mph wich really unusual for this area

Tonight: Winds diminish overnight, clearing and cooler, low 49.

Forecast Discussion: Wind Advisory until 8 pm... S 25-30 Gust 40 mph.

High - Moderate Risk for Severe Storms (best chance 10am-2pm)...

- Damaging Winds + 65 mph

- Isolated Tornadoes

- Heavy Rain

A powerful cold front will push thro the region today with Gusty Winds and a chance for Severe Storms. High pressure builds rapidly behind the front and the weather should be quiet for the rest of the week.

yeah, i woke up to the sounds of tornado sirens. the weather guys here in indy said it was moving as fast as any storm they've ever seen! it was moving 80mph when it hit us and it honestly looked like those videos you see of hurricane footage outside. it only lasted for about 5 to 6 minutes, but i hit harder than some of the actual tornadoes we've had in the area. i haven't got outside to check damage yet, but i heard many firetrucks in the neighborhood shortly after. still pretty windy and dark outside. hope everyone is ok!

OK here! I'm at work and I kept running to the window to see if my Yaris was still out there, that it hadn't blown away!

lol toad, Thats what I said to my wife when we woke up, I told her it looks like the start of a Hurracain when I was living in PuertoRico and not 2 minues later all the sirens started going off so I turned it into the new and there it was it looked really bad, But not as bad as it gets when your in the middle of a Hurracain
