Hey guys!
Wow, I haven't stopped by since i traded in my Yaris. Well, my ladyfriend is going to be purchasing a forefather of the Yaris soon - a Tercel hatchback. Yeah, 78 glorious HP delivered courtesy of a single-barrell Aisin carb. But honestly, I think with a decent set of tires, the Tercel could run circles - handling wise - around a stock Yaris. It's so agile! I'm really in love with the 'mechanical' feel of the EL31, I thought my NCP91 was connected, but it can't hold a candle to the old Tercel/Corsa/Corolla II. It's hard to explain, just trust me on this one.
I also know somebody here has an EL43 Tercel that s/he races, but I forget who. Does anyone know if that person's still around? They also work at an exhaust shop that does some pretty nice work, which is great because the Tercel is going to need an exhaust system... Let me know, thanks. :3 |

Nah, no one should hate on you for picking up a car other than a Yaris. That would be very douch-y and Honda-tech like of them then.

I loved my 96 Tercel that I had as well as my 84 Tercel 4x4.

Whut's wrong with carbs? I suppose if one is a computer geek, this electronic stuff is fine, but I am never happier than when I'm faced with a pair of SUs...

![]() :O Don't you know about carburetor icing? I mean, your airplane can drop right out of the flippin sky cuz of that. Or at least your engine will turn off. AND I've seen some Tercels fly, i tell you what. . . :D

Well.. I don't know much about Tercels; but a friend of mine does drive a ford festiva that he's done some stupid stuff to. . . and in the middle of knoxville we raced a v6 mustang and won ahahaha. Given; it was a v6.. but anything you outrace in a festiva you get to brag about. I say go for it man.
