expo2, no you do not put the clutch switch in series with the cruise circuit. In fact you put it in series instead of the jumper wire stated on page 21 of this "DIY" HERE
See my post...#371. Instead of placing the jumper wire in those two slots (as shown in the pics), simply go from one slot to the clutch switch, then back to the other slot. Try to picture your clutch switch in place of my fuse in the pictures. I will be making my own clutch switch tomorrow and I will take plenty of pics. Hope this helps :)
