[2008 Yaris Liftback] Is my stock speaker dead or is it a head unit issue?
Hi all,
General question here. I have no sound, at all, coming out of my Front Left speaker - but all other speakers (stock speakers) are working fine (front right rattles a bit, cone is damaged from use). Can anyone comment on the probability that this is a dead speaker, or is this possibly a head unit issue. I have taken apart the door panel to check the connecting to the speaker, it is good, but I have not taken apart the interior to check the connection to the head unit, because I would like to avoid tearing up the interior. So with this information, could anyone comment with any degree of certainty that it is a speaker issue, or a head unit issue? Thanks! |

Disconnect the connector and give this a try with a couple of wires and a 1.5v battery.
