Slip Indicator and Check engine light ON - 2010 yaris

i saw this topic often, until it happen to my 2010 Yaris recently.
for some reason both slip indicator and check engine light ON. My yaris is about 185k miles. I tried to reset it by removing the negative side of the battery. it works for couple of weeks, then pop up again at the same time.
Googling it up, so many opinion online.
I am planning to bring it to toyota service center to get diagnosed (about $175 for an hour).
anyone (or most yaris user) have/had issues before?
please share your opinion / experience.

Yes, rear wheel bearing has the sensor molded into it. I think corrosion happens inside and causes the sensor gap to get larger. Google "Yaris ABS sensor rust jacking."

i did replace my rear wheel bearings because of whispering sound from rear passenger side. a few months later it was the rear driver side. it's about 75k miles and 90k miles.

around 110k miles, it was the rear passenger sensor, which toyota service center charged me double ( for the sensor ande bearing! ). Just to find out it was on the same kit! a sensor molded in the wheel bearing. a lesson i learned as a yaris owner

Brought my yaris to Toyota service center, after the expensive diagnosed, they said it was a missed firing, and recommend to replace all spark plugs having number 3 some issues. So I paid $350 for the parts and labor ( hoping to deduct the diagnostic fee of $175 ).
After 6 days, the check engine light and slip indicator lights came back…
I don’t know if you guys had same issues.
Definitely Toyota service center didn’t help me thou. I called them up, and they said needs more hours of diagnostics $$$. Seems they don’t know what they are doing!
