Yes, rear wheel bearing has the sensor molded into it. I think corrosion happens inside and causes the sensor gap to get larger. Google "Yaris ABS sensor rust jacking."

Brought my yaris to Toyota service center, after the expensive diagnosed, they said it was a missed firing, and recommend to replace all spark plugs having number 3 some issues. So I paid $350 for the parts and labor ( hoping to deduct the diagnostic fee of $175 ).
After 6 days, the check engine light and slip indicator lights came back… I don’t know if you guys had same issues. Definitely Toyota service center didn’t help me thou. I called them up, and they said needs more hours of diagnostics $$$. Seems they don’t know what they are doing! |
