Toyota iQ3: A glimpse at America's coming iQ?
The UK-spec Toyota iQ3 has a 1.3-liter engine cranking out 98 HP, and still gets 50+ MPG. Could this the be iQ destined for America?

Yeah; they're pretty sweet. Hopefully, assuming the iQ will be a Scion, it will help the brand out of its slump.

Sadly, the iQ will probably come with the same 1.5l engine that the Yaris has, to satisfy the US craving for HP. Unless the iQ is priced as a premium small car as it is in Europe--which it wont be as in America small=cheap--Toyota wont pay to have the new 1.33 engine certified for the US.
But I may be wrong, and I hope I am, because I really want that car! |

It appears the 1NZ-FE (1.5 liter) is being phased out. I'll bet it'll come with the dual VVT-i 1.3 (1NR-FE).
