so...who has the least mileage compared to year of yaris?
so we all know about trini performance and his odometer resetting goals
question is....who has the least miles, compared to years though basically, who hasn't been driving the yaris wins. mine is from june 2008 to now(feb 2010), 16k Last edited by Yawesh; 02-05-2010 at 10:22 PM. |

wife as an 08 she bought mid-late 07 and she just hit 9000 miles yesterday
so about 2.5 years old with 9000 miles = 3600 miles a year

the only other way they could have found out is if he has that tracker thingy(progressive?) that tracks driving habits, it would track mileage too. |

No, well, maybe. When I lost my job I changed the insurance miles driven since I was traveling out of the State every day. So State Farm put me down for "pleasure use vehicle". Well it seems pleasure use is < 4kmi / year. They just sent me a questioneer and asked what the ODO reading was on my car currently. They must of had the ODO from last year so the figued out I am driving 12K year. When working I had a 70 mile daily round trip commute and put 20K+ on a year. Oh well its a hundered bucks more a year than pleasure use.

Here's another possible source of odometer readings. I know in PA when you re-register your car (which is yearly you have to update that info), they ask your odometer reading (they won't allow it without that). This is also often linked with your driver's license (particularly if you are the only listed owner). Add to the fact that you have to prove registration on the vehicle to have insurance (at least I always had to), the insurance company has all the info they need to access your odometer reading on a yearly basis.

I agree. From April 2008 to Feb 2010 22 months and 19,000 miles = 864 mile/month.
