30, so somewhere in between the rest of all of YW.

Still look 21 and feel 18 though. Not sure what the big deal about being this old is. Must be the giggity within...

The people that think 30 is a big deal, haven't hit it yet. Same goes for 40, 50, 60 etc. Our bodies show signs of age and in later years our minds may, but we are always who we are.

It never really feels different from the inside looking out.

True. And I say it's just a failed scare tactic by the younger gen. into trying to get us to think our time has past and we should look forward to tucking our pants into our armpits and hitting a golf course, followed by going to bed at 7PM so we can be up in time for the Early Bird Special (actually that's not a bad idea for a Halloween gag). Of course it could also be another failed tactic by the older gen. who think we still haven't "gotten our shit together yet" just because they did at our age (probably by force and at the sacrifice of enjoying life to the fullest).

But any case, I don't care...

I think 30 is a big deal, IMO. You're done with the terrible twenties, what I call the age of uncertainty (not as uncomfortable as the teen years but not what I'd call comfortable either)

I think when you hit 30 a sort of clarity hits you, and it's a big turning point for most people I know. things start clicking. don't know how to explain it better.

And then there are exceptions to this rule. Some people know what they want from childhood and just go for it. Look at Mark Zuckerberg, people like that... But then , those are extraordinary people.

Most of us, ahem... I don' t know, kind of wonder... struggle with the big questions "family, career, etc."

I didn't really start having fun until I was 40 but it's a different kind of fun. As you get older, you stop caring about some stuff as much. You realize what is important and what is not.
