Look hard and you can see me smack in the middle of the photo, facing to the left as I psych up for my first ever 65-foot jump into a cold mountain lake. My friend Randy is on the right. I had a pucker factor of about 9:

Brian, you're crazy. I had the opportunity to climb and jump off of a 100-foot tree back in high school, I didn't do it. I just can't jump off of high places. LOL. I hate heights, but I love roller coasters for some reason. hahahaha.

It's impossible to tell in a 2D photo, but I'm at least 10 feet from rocks on all sides. That's more than enough as the rocks go straight down into the water.

Correction: I have been informed by several sources that what we thought was a 50-foot jump is actually 65 feet.
The shorter ledge that my friend Randy jumped off for his second attempt was the 50 foot one.
