91 year-old woman, 46 year-old car, 562,000 miles
I figure the Yaris can go 562,000 miles, based on other posts on this forum.

I don't knowif the yaris can, but there are still quite a few domestic cars around that are older than me

I think it could last if you kept it locked up in a garage, with all the required maintenece of course. But maybe in 46 years, we ll have flying cars or something technology is taking over in a big way so who knows.

Yeah it is possible. My AE86 is 24 years old now with its original paint and still runs good as I maintain its engine. Im planning of keeping both my yaris and AE86 as much as possible until I reach old age.

thats crazy lol , I picked up a 92 525i bmw that has 336.xxx miles on the odo with a rebuilt engine and it still runs and drive beautifully .

I read an article on yahoo.com about that woman and that car, i thought i read somehwere that the engine was replaced a couple times, but i mustve misread it or some other woman drove a car that much and she said she would never ever let go of the car

she had it up to 120 once....for a little bit....but doesnt drive it over 50mph. hell ya a car will last forever. and she scoops up all the lifetime warranties she can get. 18 free batteries??? not today, not any more. they're pro-rated. 41 midas mufflers....wow.

Yeah, well... There's a guy in New York who has a Volvo P1800 with ~ 2 million miles on it, still a daily (!) driver. I think the engine is original, but rebuilt, as is some of the other parts of the running gear. If it is put together properly the first time, there is no actual limit to the number of miles one can put on, which is why I drive a Toyota.
