Hood scoop question
Long time I haven’t posted, been working on a new shell, and I wanted your opinion regarding hood scoop designs. Would a reverse cowl design be better than an intake scoop design in your opinion?
I’m making a custom hood scoop from a Subaru legacy GT and my friend is trying to convince me that the reverse cowl design would be more efficient/practical than the the other way around Here’s the reverse cowl design link and pictures of my hood right now. https://kaminari.com/products/toyota...verse-cowl-frp |

if you want to push air under the car and make your front end light (you don't) then a hood scoop is for you.
what is the practical purpose for a scoop in your application? are you turbocharged with a top mount intercooler?
