so...who has the least mileage compared to year of yaris?

so we all know about trini performance and his odometer resetting goals

question is....who has the least miles, compared to years though

basically, who hasn't been driving the yaris wins.

mine is from june 2008 to now(feb 2010), 16k

wife as an 08 she bought mid-late 07 and she just hit 9000 miles yesterday
so about 2.5 years old with 9000 miles = 3600 miles a year

I put a good bit of miles on my 2009 Yaris 3 Door Liftback. Got the car new in May 2009 and now have 11,500 miles on her.

I think it would be easier if you just have people post their average mileage per month... so... if I had my car 52 months, and have 26,000 miles i'd average 500miles a month.

with that said, I average 1,600 a month, 19,200 a year... I think I lost.

How did your insurance company find out? Did you voluntary tell them how much you drive?

lol, yea i was actually curious how they found out, usually when people sign up, they put the lowest mileage per year. And nobody calls the company up and tell them i will be driving more miles per year when renewing.

the only other way they could have found out is if he has that tracker thingy(progressive?) that tracks driving habits, it would track mileage too.

Allstate asked how many miles I drive to work one way. I said something like 8 miles. I put 40,000 miles on the Yaris that year.

Your right on the progressive part, thats who I have and I actually did do there myRate program, and was saving money cause I was only driving to work before. But then I got a girlfriend and she lived a bit away so i obviously drove more and at "unsafe" hours. So i decided to get off that program, cause it actually starting increasing my premium. Anyway i seriously doubt I'll win 2007, and have 71100, so 23700 a year.

Many state inspections now enter the mileage as part of the emissions testing. Here in TX they do. That might be accessible to insurance companies, what with Freedom of Information Act and all.
