how i mounted my lightweight battery
so my question is,"is this really safe?" Meaning could the engine bay get hot enough to ignite the box and paper stuff?
What I did was take the box the battery came in, added in the paper stuff the company used to make sure the battery didn't move, tape it all together with packing tape. It is very secure in the car, but i was just brought aware of how hot it can get in there. When I have money I plan on buying a real lightweight aluminum mount, but is it a good idea to leave it like this until then? ![]() ![]()
