Scorched Earth policy
Ask to speak to the owner/manager of the dealership. If you speak to him and he doesn't help, calmly say "I'm through with you. Who is your boss?" If the answer is no one, I'm the boss, ask for Toyota regional service. Always be polite, and until you get the result you want, or you speak to the CEO of Toyota and he turns you down, there is always another rung on the ladder. Your best source of info is the internet, and many companies with web sites have organizational charts. This does work, a few years ago I got jobbed by Disney on a cruise package. Unbelievably I got to a vice president who was very interested in how I got his contact information and also couldn't believe that no one fixed my problem. I ended up getting upgraded to a room on an upper deck with a private balcony, and $800 in shipboard credit. Document everything you talk about, and the full names of the person spoken with, with date and time. If you can get phone records for your cell, use them as proof of your call. Don't give up and don't be a sheep |
