For those attempting this mod, I highly recommend one of these:
 It is about the cheapest SMT soldering/desoldering tweezer iron out there ($31). I have a $900 hot air system for reworking SMT boards, but for quick jobs on two lead parts (like these LEDs), I reach for my Tenma iron instead. http://www.mcmelectronics.com/produc...LAID=220244277 |
