when you turn, weight is transferred to the outside wheel. A sway bar (or in this case because we have a beam rear axle, a "torsion" bar), resists this by transferring weight back to the inside wheel.
Roll is reduced, traction is increased and the car feels much more "secure" and flat in the turns. How'd I do?
