I just saw Star Trek on an IMAX screen. All I can say is wow. I grew up watching the original series in syndication and all of the subsequent series, except for Enterprise, and all the movies.

With this new movie, I will now have a second ST movie to watch over and over again. This one gives "Wrath of Khan" good competition as my favorite ST movie and breaks the curse of the odd numbered ST clunkers.

and yeah I've seen some sneak peeks for it, not much of a trek fan but hey .... maybe I'll like the new movie???
