How loud's too loud?

We live in a society of loud noises - cars(engines, exhausts, horns, squealing brakes), lawnmowers, trucks, bikes, planes, trains, constructions sites, and a thousand other abusive noises. By the time it gets down to other people's music I hardly notice. I just find it funny that most people are so annoyed by something that affects maybe 10 seconds a week of their life, when so much more time is spent dealing with louder more annoying noise, most of which isn't necessary, just convenient.

Like I said, I've seen the listen-to-my-window-rattling-radio reaction before when I rev the harley to drown out their music, and they're never happy about it

So again ... I'm not surprised, but a bit delighted to see that the street don't go both ways there.
