Rub a dub dub...
I have an 09 3-door with OEM 185/60/15 on MB 'Weapon' wheels (15X7 4-100 35GM) with 13mm rear hub spacers. Also, car is lowered on DF210's. The wheels and tires look awesome, but I'm getting some pretty annoying rubbing in the rear when going over dips/valleys in the road. It doesn't seem to happen with normal up and down bumps/potholes, just any time the rear end dips down more than the front. It seems to be only happening on the right rear tire, which is weird.
Also, the front left tire is rubbing when I turn against the locks to the right, such as in parking or pulling into my driveway. Is there anything I can do to eliminate the rubbing? I know it's only rubbing on plastic (I hope!), but it sounds kinda scary, especially to passengers who aren't used to the sound. |
