want 2 lower with tein but have tyre rub HELP!

hey guys i have a problem, i bought 17" rims but the offset is for front wheel drive right. it doesnt touch when i turn the steering wheel or anything the only problem is when i put ppl in my back seat and wit the weight of the music if i go over any humps or dips in the road the tyre rubs on the fender lip, i would like to lower my car with tein s tech or L TECH springs if i can find them for the sedan BUT i wanted to know from anyone with a little more experience if the springs would be stiff enough with the 1.9" drop to not rub at all with the stiffer suspension?

I have the same problem dude I'm running 205/45R17, what's the offset on your wheels? (I'm running 38 offset)

I thought of changing my tires to 205/40's but I'm just going to grinding the fenders and see..

Curious what the offset of those wheels are. They certainly don't look right!

I'm quite certain that tire size is not your problem and that your rim offset is. Remember, the lower the offset, the wider the wheels will stick out. 38mm is the lowest offset you should use. From the pictures, yours look to be lower than 38. Hence, the fender rubbing.
