so i randomly wanted to check my my church's office was open and saw the site changed and i looked at the bottom to see what they used and saw word press.. so i poked around and decided i would build the guys website with that
www.bsafedriver.com is what i ended up building for him. i took all the pics on the site and stuff for him I had a totally different theme that i liked way more .. but he is an older guy who wanted super basic. so thats what he got lol
i decided to ditch using iweb for my own site too and started working on this page. I love all the widgets and such.. so far everything i've wanted i've found for plugins and i cant wait to start getting band cd's in stock so i can start selling them.. i think this format will really get the local kids interested in my shows, clothing and photography

Wordpress is going to take over the CMS world. Their plugin community is bonkers and what a lot of people don't know is they have a version that allows you to serve and administrate multiple sites from one place.
http://mu.wordpress.org. I use it for our company for smaller magazine-style publications. I have also used a plugin called BuddyPress to give those sites a cohesive user login structure and some social networking functionality. You can get PMs on our blogs now. Its sick. Wordpress FTW.
Good luck with your site!
