Try unlocking the door from the inside with the OEM manual door switch. There was incorrect info floating around for quite a while on which wire to connect to for the door unlocking when installing keyless entry or remote start. If the wrong one is used, when you lock the drivers door using the manual inside lock, you can not get it to unlock again with the remote until you first unlock it from the inside. It sounds crazy, but just before I bought my Yaris, a woman on here from Florida had the issue, and then when mine came in and I installed my remote starter, I saw the same issue and figured out the correct wiring (which is in my remote start wiring DIY).
