Sprint announced they were discontinuing most of the benefits I had under the Premier account, so I have no incentive to upgrade early. I saw the EVO 3G (when it came out, Sprint offered an early upgrade for $50 but I declined because the difference between the 3G and the 4G doesn't seem significant enough to warrant signing for another 2 years. I'll just wait. I bet by the time I'm out of contract, there will be all kinds of offering on all other carriers (or whoever is left). That Droid Bionic (on VZW) is pretty awesome already. Can you even imagine what they're going to offer a year from now?!
