Another unearthing here as Google had served me well! I have exactly this problem and for the life of me cannot solve it. Buy a can of intake/carb cleaner and clean the maf sensor carefully with cotton wool and a spray of the cleaner first and see if that helps. Also may as well clean the pcv valve and the throttle body while you are doing it.
