Maybe the xA has better airflow to the brakes than the Yaris? That's really all it would take. The Yaris wheel wells appear to be pretty well blocked from airflow, quite possibly on purpose to reduce drag. It's made for economy, not performance.

Carolina Motorsports Park is notorious for being hard on brakes. Plus, your using those Endless pads, my faith in top brand JDM parts is pretty weak after my experiences.
