I only test drove the MT Yaris once and all I remember was it took alot of clutch pedal release before the clutch engaged. By that time I had the engine rev'd up really high because I had started pressing the throttle. The car salesman even asked me if I'd ever driven an MT before. (I've owned three MT cars)

Is that the same thing you guys are complaining about with the MT clutch?

I don't really know how to explain it, but I find that the Yaris requires a bit of an expert touch, IMO. First gear especially is a b*tch . Yeah, it does take a while.
