Your yaris was still made with "stuff".

I drive a Yaris because i have a long commute. If I did not have to drive that far to work, i would drive something bigger and faster. Why? Because i can, because it's more fun. Sure my Yaris is fun at times but being in that little ass car after awhile gets old.

I maybe by some of your standards "cattle" or "sheep" but at least i'm not a god damn hippie. This thread is a joke.

Don't bother with him he's one of the select few here who make this forum unbearable at times.. I mean there is no reason this thread needed to turn into a discussion of enviromentalist ideas except for the fact that some people like to argue about ridiculous garbage instead of discussing the actual topic at hand.

The HX was an awesome idea and I've said many times that it showed GM was moving in the right direction, they just couldn't get past the obsurd reputation that has been given to HUMMER and there is no way a government run GM was going to support it.

The topic was Saturn and then *cough* someone *cough* brought up Hummer. That was the original derailment, not the anti-Hummer/anti-excess rebuttal.

You have now continued the derailment by hanging on the the HX discussion which has nothing to do with Saturn directly.

So, how about the "topic at hand"?

You got something in your throat?

So yeah, on topic. It would be nice if they brought this here.

No need to attack what you percieve to be someone's "ideas" even though those ideas were never mentioned in a thread that has nothing to do with those ideas. The original Hummer HX comment was closely related to the thread and didn't intend to start an argument. Some of us enjoy threads that don't deal with fuel efficiency and saving the enviroment because it's our global responsibility and would appreciate it if you didn't force them all to be locked by starting arguments that don't have any place in the thread to begin with.

Personally I think Saturn would be most competitive in the US market as a Renault-Nissan partner with it's lineup being:

Saturn Kangoo be bop
Saturn Twingo
Saturn Megane
Saturn Clio
Saturn Laguna

http://www.renault.com/en/vehicules/Pages/index.aspx for an idea of what those models look like

+1 on the Laguna, 4wheel steering sounds fun.

I was reading today that Penske plans on sourcing parts and labor worldwide with the hope of manufacturing vehicles in the USA at some point in the future . Looks like Penske is going for the jugular .....
